The Beckhoff KL6904 terminal from the KL Analog Input Modules is a safety-oriented bus terminal featuring the TwinSAFE / Safety over EtherCAT protocol and four safe outputs with a max output current of 0.5 A per channel. Housed in polycarbonate and measuring 24 mm x 100 mm x 68 mm, it mounts horizontally on a 35 mm DIN rail and conforms to DIN EN ISO 13849-1:2008 (Cat. 4, PL e) and EN 61508:2010 (SIL 3) standards. With a protection rating of IP20, ATEX and IECEx Ex ec IIC T4 Gc certification, and a K-bus consumption of max. 250 mA, it supports up to 15 safe connections and 48 function blocks for flexible cycle times from 4 ms to 100 ms, all in a compact 100 g package.
