The KM1012 from Beckhoff is a plug-based digital input terminal with EN 61131-2 type 1 reliability. Part of the KM Bus Terminals, it supports 24 V DC (-15%/+20%) and has 16 inputs in two groups. It measures 26.5 × 100 × 71 mm and operates between 0 °C and 55 °C.

It uses plug connection technology and consumes typically 3 mA from the K-bus. Each input draws 5 mA and features a 0.2 ms filter for noise-free signals. This compact module simplifies wiring in industrial automation cabinets.
