The M.3000.0468 (MMC-SD-8.0-460-D) is a premium MMC drive engineered by international tech power player, Kollmorgen. Recognized for its compatibility with the proprietary PicPro software, this drive facilitates serial communication across an array of automation platforms. It features four general-purpose outputs at 24VDC, eight inputs at 24VDC, and is equipped with a green power LED light alongside yellow diagnostic LEDs, thereby ensuring effective fault detection. The comprehensive diagnostic module can report on a multitude of potential faults, including overcurrent, drive relay, communication, setup data, continuous current, drive interface, and drive timing faults. With an 18A continuous current and a peak current of 36A, the model is well-prepared with phase to phase and phase to ground short circuit protection. Besides its inbuilt power supply that simplifies installation, the M.3000.0468 (MMC-SD-8.0-460-D) offers various feedback options, such as incremental encoder, high resolution encoder, or resolver, allowing users to select the most suitable technology for each application. Its design incorporates safety features including over voltage, over temperature, and over current protection for the drive and motor. Furthermore, its compatibility with PicPro software enables features like complete ladder logic instruction set for machine control, single-point programming, process, and data management, and user-developed instruction (UDFBs) creation for inter-application use.
