The M-403-B-21-B3 is a Goldline series motor from Kollmorgen, offering exceptional continuous torque performance and high acceleration capabilities, all housed within a streamlined, compact design. It is best paired with a SERVOSTAR digital amplifier for an optimized, easy-to-setup motion control system. As part of the M series, it features a medium inertia rotor and includes a built-in encoder negating the need for an additional position feedback device. Its robust design, fully metallic enclosure, and self-protecting power modules safeguard against numerous faults such as short circuits, overvoltage, over-speed, over-temperature, and loss of feedback. This highly efficient, reliable, and cost-effective motor make it ideal for a multitude of applications and its unique multi-drop configuration facilitates communication with multiple SERVOSTAR amplifiers via a single RS-232 connection.
