The Kollmorgen Goldline M-405-C-A1-E1 is a maximized-performance servo motor capable of achieving greater torque and power density due to its innovative interior permanent magnet design. This design eliminates issues related to airgap magnets and enhances motor responsiveness, facilitating its utilisation in high-demand industrial applications. The motor series offers IP65 or IP67 protection ratings. The M-405-C-A1-E1 has a top speed of 5000 rpm, 7.3 HP, a continuous line current of 19.8 RMS, and a peak line current of 55.9 ARMS. This model exhibits a line-to-line DC resistance of 0.34 Ohms ±10 percent and line-to-line inductance rated at 8.4 mH ± 30%. The M-405-C-A1-E1 is ideally used with a ServoStar digital amplifier and is UL-recognized. The motor also boasts easy connectivity and a built-in thermostat for temperature monitoring. It's best suited for point-to-point move applications due to its high torque to volume ratio and robust resolver feedback with encoder feedback option.
