The M21NSHS-LNN-NS-02, a product of Pacific Scientific, is a lightweight, economically viable stepper motor seen as a substitute for servo motors. Constructed in a NEMA 23 frame type, this highly advanced stepper motor is part of the POWERMAX II family and is enhanced with Sigmax technology. This technology ensures superior torque generation and reduces operation loss in comparison to traditional motor designs. The motor features a single stack rotor design and a smooth, laminated motor shaft for high-efficiency performance at high speeds. Despite its precision, expect a non-cumulative error of plus or minus 1.5% of a 1.8-degree step under no load condition. The motor shaft can withstand a radial load of up 20 pounds or an axial load of 13 pounds. Utilizing extra-large bearings, Pacific Scientific ensures increased durability and extended bearing life than in typical NEMA 23-frame motors, making it an ideal choice for precision and cost-effective automation operations.
