The Kollmorgen M4407-10020A is a highly versatile, three-phase DC drive module from the M4000 series, ideal for various applications like packaging machinery, material handling, metal forming, food processing, and more. It houses an RS 485 with optical isolation for enhanced networking and connectivity with numerous control devices. It features user-configurable digital and analog inputs, adding to its reliability and versatility. This unit demonstrates excellent rotary and linear motion control capabilities, able to handle tasks such as coating, winding/unwinding, valve actuation, conveyor gate diversion, etc. Powered by a regenerative supply unit, it operates at a voltage of 500 Volts DC and has a power rating of 7 HP. Its 9-LED status indicator displays various drive conditions, and the module's practical features include auto-tuning, multi-level programmable security control, and a comprehensive display. It can operate remotely or manually, and is rated to function at altitudes up to 1000 m above sea level and temperatures between 0 – 55°C, depending on the mounting scenario.
