Hailing from the M4000 series, this advanced DC drive operates using AC 460 V directly from its power supply unit. Notably, the M4450 enables hassle-free operation if maintained within guidelines determined by Danaher Motion Kollmorgen. Equipped with a rectifier, AC voltage gets converted into DC voltage for efficient electric motor operation up to 50 HP. Additionally, the M4450 possesses a regenerative drive configuration, with all essential parameters securely stored within the drive's permanent memory. However, as the model is lacking protection against solid particles and liquids, it must be mounted inside a closed switchgear cabinet adhering to a minimum protection category of IP 54. Moreover, the DC drive operates optimally under 90% humidity and at altitudes not exceeding 1000 meters. A user manual, available in multiple languages, facilitates commissioning, and the supplier recommends operating the model according to their prescribed conditions.
