MDD025A-N-100-N2G-040FB1
The MDD025A-N-100-N2G-040FB1 is a small-frame synchronous servo motor from the MDD Synchronous Motors series produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat. Designed for closed-loop operation with digital drive controllers, the unit converts commanded current into rotor torque for high-speed positioning tasks in automated machinery. Its compact format suits light-duty axes that need fast response, controlled motion, and efficient use of limited installation space. This operating profile is common in compact handling equipment, small transfer axes, and similar automated assemblies.
At a nominal speed of 10000 rpm, the motor can maintain high rotational speed when paired with a suitable drive. During standstill, the winding set delivers 0.33 Nm of continuous torque, which supports light holding loads without excessive heat buildup. A rear-mounted blocking brake provides 1.0 Nm of static holding torque and engages automatically when power is removed. Position information is supplied through resolver feedback, allowing the controller to track rotor movement during acceleration and deceleration. A centering diameter of 40 mm helps align the motor housing with the mounting surface, and the power and signal connectors are placed on the side B end bell to keep cabling clear of the drive shaft.
Standard dynamic balancing helps limit vibration during operation, and the aluminum housing uses the standard form used for this motor series. The electrical interface uses a Connector plug, which allows the motor to be disconnected without hard-wired leads. With frame size 025 and length code A, the motor remains compact while accommodating the integrated brake. The output uses a plain shaft, and the front bearing pocket is made without a shaft seal. Because of that shaft-end arrangement, the motor is best installed in clean, dry enclosures where oil, coolant, and washdown exposure are not expected.
