MDD025A-N-100-N2G-040GA1
The MDD025A-N-100-N2G-040GA1 is a servo motor manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for use with digital drive controllers in high-speed automation cells. As a member of the MDD Synchronous Motors series, the unit belongs to the small-frame 025 size class, making it suitable for compact axes on pick-and-place machines, electronics assembly heads, or lightweight gantries. By converting commanded current from the drive into proportional torque and speed, the motor supports precise rotary positioning in repetitive motion sequences. Its compact format also helps it fit installations where available mounting space is limited.
A nominal speed of 10,000 rpm permits fast cycle counts where short positioning times are required. At standstill, the rotor can generate 0.33 Nm of continuous torque, which is suitable for light loads without additional gearing. Mechanical alignment is simplified by the 40 mm centering diameter that seats the front flange precisely on standardized mounting surfaces. All power and feedback leads exit on side A, and the factory-installed connector allows plug-in wiring to the cabinet harness. Resolver feedback supplies analog sine-cosine signals so the drive can track rotor position during rapid acceleration. The housing uses a standard unventilated design, and the A-length stator body keeps the overall depth short for compact machine layouts.
A blocking brake is fitted and can exert 1.0 Nm of static torque to secure the axis when the drive is disabled. The output journal uses a plain shaft with a factory shaft seal, which helps limit lubricant migration at the coupling interface. Only one shaft end is supplied, which simplifies coupling alignment on tight installations and leaves the opposite end closed. Rotor mass is trimmed to meet standard balancing, so vibration remains controlled at full speed.
