MDD025A-N-100-N2G-040GB0
Bosch Rexroth Indramat builds the MDD025A-N-100-N2G-040GB0 as part of the MDD Synchronous Motors series. This brushless AC motor is intended for digital drive controllers and serves as the rotary element in compact automation stages, pick-and-place heads, and other high-speed tooling where precise servo control is required. When paired with a compatible drive, it provides closed-loop torque and speed regulation for repetitive fast-cycle motion. Its compact format suits machine areas where installation space is limited and responsive movement is important.
The mechanical interface starts with a centering diameter of 40 mm, allowing accurate pilot location against gearboxes or machine plates. Power and feedback conductors exit on Side B, and the single multi-pin Connector simplifies cable routing in small enclosures. Standard dynamic balancing keeps vibration within normal limits for the 025 frame, while the housing supports convection cooling during continuous operation. With a continuous stall torque of 0.33 Nm, the motor can hold load forces when commanded current is maintained. At its rated operating point, the rotor reaches 10000 rpm, and the motor has size code 025 with length code A, which keeps the body short for tight mechanical envelopes.
The output uses a plain shaft that transmits torque through friction couplings, and there is no secondary shaft on side B. The shaft is fitted with a shaft seal to limit lubricant escape and block airborne contaminants. The motor is supplied without a blocking brake, so position holding during power loss must be provided by the external drive or by mechanical means. Angular position is reported through resolver feedback, giving rotor data after rapid reversals and allowing the controller to maintain commutation and speed regulation during fast direction changes.
