MDD025A-N-100-N2G-040GF1
The MDD025A-N-100-N2G-040GF1 synchronous servo motor is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the MDD Synchronous Motors series. As a motor for digital drive controllers, it converts controlled electrical power into rapid rotary motion that can be tightly regulated by the drive electronics in automated machinery and assembly stations, supporting repeatable acceleration, stable running speed, and accurate stopping behavior. Its compact 025 frame and A-length housing suit installations where space is limited yet fast cycle times remain important, allowing precise speed and position control in small gantries, pick-and-place heads, tooling spindles, and other compact axes that cannot accommodate a larger motor body.
A centering pilot of 40 mm aligns the flange to mating mounts without additional shimming and helps maintain accurate shaft positioning. At standstill, the motor can sustain 0.33 Nm continuously without exceeding thermal limits. For emergency stops and vertical axes, the integrated blocking brake supplies 1.0 Nm of static torque when de-energized. During motion, the rotor can reach a nominal velocity of 10,000 rpm, which suits high-speed spindle-style tasks and rapid positioning moves. All power and feedback conductors exit on the right side, which can simplify cable routing when the surrounding machine layout follows that orientation.
Position data are returned through resolver feedback, giving the drive continuous analog angle information that remains usable in electrically noisy environments and during frequent speed changes. The motor uses a single plain shaft configuration, which avoids keyway stress concentrations and works well with friction-clamped couplings where smooth torque transfer is preferred. Contaminant ingress is limited by a dedicated shaft seal, helping protect internal components when lubricants, coolants, or general machine debris are present around the shaft area.
