MDD025A-N-100-N2G-040MA1
The MDD025A-N-100-N2G-040MA1 is a synchronous motor built by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the MDD Synchronous Motors series. As a motor for digital drive controllers, it delivers high-speed rotary movement to gantries, pick-and-place arms, and other motion modules where tight position loops are executed in the drive electronics. A standard rotor balance grade and standard housing allow direct installation in light machinery without additional vibration isolation, which helps keep the assembly compact. The motor is intended for applications that need fast response and stable rotary motion in a small installation space.
With a motor size of 025, the unit combines a compact stator diameter with a nominal speed of 10000 rpm. This speed allows the drive to command very high rotary motion while staying within the motor’s intended operating range. At standstill, it produces 0.33 Nm of continuous torque, allowing the axis to hold position against modest process loads while current remains within the controller’s continuous rating. During clamping or emergency-stop conditions, the built-in blocking brake supplies 1.0 Nm of holding torque. Power and feedback conductors leave on side A, which can simplify cable routing when several motors are mounted close together on a common machine plate.
The mounting interface uses a centering diameter of 40 mm, giving precise concentric alignment with gearboxes or bearing flanges. Electrical connection is made through a circular connector, and position data is returned by integrated resolver feedback, which remains reliable at high rotational speed. The single shaft end has a keyway so torque can be transmitted without slip during operation. The motor is supplied without a shaft seal, so it is better suited to clean, dry enclosures than to washdown areas. Motor length code A and the standard housing help keep mass and inertia low for responsive axis movement.
