MDD025A-N-100-N2G-040MB0
The MDD025A-N-100-N2G-040MB0 is a small-frame AC synchronous motor built by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the MDD Synchronous Motors series. It serves as the rotary actuator in digital drive controller systems where fast response and tight position control are important to throughput. By matching the controller’s current loops, the motor delivers repeatable torque across its operating range and is suited to light gantries, indexing tables, and compact conveyor stations in automated equipment. Its compact size also makes it practical for machine sections where available mounting space is limited.
At standstill, the rotor can deliver 0.33 Nm of continuous torque, which is suitable for holding light mechanical loads without overheating. During motion, it reaches a nominal speed of 10000 rpm, supporting rapid cycle times in short-stroke applications. Power and feedback conductors are routed on side B of the housing, and the single-piece connector interface keeps wiring concentrated at one end of the motor. Rotor position is reported through resolver feedback, giving the drive continuous angle information for commutation and closed-loop control. This cable arrangement also helps keep routing orderly in compact machine sections.
The flange includes a centering recess of 40 mm, allowing precise concentric alignment to gearboxes or direct-drive plates. The motor is supplied without a blocking brake, so any required holding force must come from an external device when power is removed. Torque is transmitted through a keyway shaft end, and the rotor uses standard balancing to help limit vibration at high speed. The unit uses the standard housing for motor size 025 with length code A, and it is shipped without a shaft seal when the coupling area is already enclosed from contaminants. This arrangement keeps the output end simple for clean, enclosed installations.
