MDD025A-N-100-N2G-040MD0
The MDD025A-N-100-N2G-040MD0 is a compact synchronous servo motor manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the MDD Synchronous Motors series. It is intended for use with digital drive controllers and converts controlled electrical power into precise rotary motion in space-limited automation equipment. Its compact housing, A-length format, and standard balancing arrangement make it suitable for light indexing tables, miniature conveyors, electronic assembly tooling, and other axes where low inertia and fast response are important.
The motor reaches a nominal speed of 10,000 rpm, supporting rapid acceleration and deceleration in applications that require short cycle times. During locked-rotor operation, it can deliver 0.33 Nm of continuous torque, which helps the axis hold position without excessive heat buildup. Position data is provided through resolver feedback, an analog sensing method that tolerates electrical noise and vibration while still allowing accurate interpolation by the drive. All power, signal, and protective earth conductors exit on Side B, which leaves the opposite side clear for couplings, pulleys, or compact transmission components. The motor is supplied with a preassembled connecting cable with coupling unit, so the electrical interface is integrated into the motor assembly.
A centering shoulder of 40 mm helps locate the flange accurately during installation, and the rotor is dynamically balanced to the standard grade to reduce vibration at high speed. The unit is supplied without a blocking brake, so any holding function after power removal must be provided by an external device. The single shaft end uses a keyway for positive torque transmission to the driven element. It is also supplied without a shaft seal, so the motor is better suited to clean, enclosed machine areas than to locations exposed to liquid splash or washdown.
