MDD025A-N-100-N2G-040ML0
The Bosch Rexroth Indramat MDD025A-N-100-N2G-040ML0 is a small synchronous servo unit in the MDD Synchronous Motors series. Designed to couple with digital drive controllers, it delivers precise rotary motion for miniature handling axes, labeling heads, or spindle positioning tasks in industrial automation. By converting stator current commanded by the drive into proportional torque at the rotor, it supports accurate speed and position regulation.
The nominal speed rating of 10,000 rpm is the top synchronous velocity the rotor can maintain under rated conditions, making the motor suitable for high-throughput stations that must cycle rapidly. At standstill, it can deliver 0.33 Nm of continuous torque, allowing the drive to hold or index a light load without overheating. A centering flange with a 40 mm diameter simplifies concentric mounting on gearheads or adapter plates and helps keep radial runout within tolerance. Rotor position is returned to the controller through resolver feedback, enabling closed-loop commutation without the higher wiring counts of digital encoders. Power is transmitted through a shaft machined with a keyway, which provides positive engagement with standard keyed couplings.
Dynamic balance follows the manufacturer's standard grade, so additional field trimming is not required for the compact frame size 025. The aluminum housing is supplied in standard form, and the A-length stack keeps overall mass low for fast acceleration. Electrical and feedback plugs are arranged on the left side, and the motor uses a single multi-pin connector interface to minimize cabinet wiring. The shaft end is provided only on side A, and there is no shaft seal, which reduces running friction. The unit is delivered without a blocking brake, so holding force during power-off must be supplied by the machine mechanism or the drive itself.
