MDD025A-N-100-N2G-040PF0
Bosch Rexroth Indramat manufactures the MDD025A-N-100-N2G-040PF0, a compact member of the MDD Synchronous Motors series. It is intended for use with digital drive controllers in light-duty positioning tasks where high spindle speed and fine incremental motion are required. This motor is suitable for packaging machines, small pick-and-place stations, and other compact automated equipment where limited installation space and accurate motion control are both important.
The mechanical interface uses a centering diameter of 40 mm, allowing the frame to seat accurately against compatible mounting flanges. At standstill, the rotor can deliver 0.33 Nm of continuous torque, which is suitable for holding low-mass loads without thermal overload. The motor has a nominal speed of 10000 rpm, allowing the axis to reach process speed quickly during short-cycle motion. Cable terminations exit on the right side, and power and feedback are routed through a connecting cable with coupling unit for organized cable routing in closely spaced installations. The size 025 housing and A length keep the motor compact, while standard balancing helps reduce vibration transfer to nearby machine elements.
Motion feedback is provided by resolver feedback, which offers reliable signal transmission in electrically noisy environments and at elevated operating temperatures. The motor is supplied without a blocking brake, so any holding function at rest must be provided by the drive or by external mechanical means. The shaft includes a shaft seal to help limit lubricant migration and protect the bearing area during operation. Torque is transmitted through a keyway, allowing the motor to connect to standard keyed hubs and couplings. The unit also uses a standard housing, a standard shaft end on side A only, and standard dynamic balancing for straightforward integration into compact motion systems.
