MDD025B-N-100-N2G-040FC0
The Bosch Rexroth Indramat MDD025B-N-100-N2G-040FC0 is an AC synchronous servo motor in the MDD Synchronous Motors series. It is intended for digital drive controllers and converts commanded current into controlled rotary motion for small positioning devices in assembly, printing, and packaging equipment. The compact 025 frame with B length helps the motor fit tightly spaced multi-axis layouts while still supporting fast response. Its operating role suits stations that require repeatable starts, stops, and short travel moves. An integrated feedback interface supplies rotor position data for closed-loop torque control.
The centering pilot measures 40 mm, providing an accurate reference diameter for flange mounting. All power and feedback conductors exit on side A, and the motor uses a connecting cable with a coupling unit to keep the electrical connection organized. This arrangement keeps the motor wiring grouped at one end of the housing and supports orderly cable routing. At standstill, it can deliver 0.60 Nm of continuous torque for light indexing and pick-and-place duty. The motor is supplied without a blocking brake, so any load that must remain fixed during power loss needs an external holding method. Position data is returned through resolver feedback, which offers good noise immunity and reliable operation at elevated temperatures.
A nominal speed of 10000 rpm gives the drive package room for rapid acceleration in short-cycle machinery. Mechanical coupling is simplified by a plain shaft, which avoids keyways and supports direct clamping connections. This shaft style is well suited to compact motion systems where low backlash is important. The motor is built without a shaft seal, which reduces drag at the shaft and is best suited to clean, dry environments. It also uses standard dynamic balancing, and the housing follows the standard version used for this series.
