MDD025B-N-100-N2G-040FL1
The MDD025B-N-100-N2G-040FL1 is a compact synchronous motor manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the MDD Synchronous Motors series. Intended for digital drive controllers, it provides rapid rotary motion for axes that require accurate velocity and position control in automated equipment. A resolver mounted on the rotor supplies continuous position data to the drive, and an internal blocking brake holds the shaft when power is removed. This combination allows the motor to support both dynamic motion and secure stopping in pick-and-place arms, small indexing tables, and other compact automation systems.
The motor reaches a nominal speed of 10000 rpm, enabling high cycle rates when it is paired with a suitable drive. At standstill, it can generate 0.60 Nm of continuous torque, which is the thermal limit for indefinite stall operation. For static load retention, the integrated brake provides 1.0 Nm of holding torque, so the motor torque and brake torque serve different functions. Position feedback is delivered through resolver feedback, which gives analog phase information that the controller converts into angle and speed values. A plain shaft reduces coupling complexity, and the motor is supplied without a shaft seal, so the surrounding machine structure should provide protection where dust or fluid exposure is possible.
A centering diameter of 40 mm aligns the flange to mounting plates with minimal radial runout. Power and feedback connections are carried through a keyed connector located on the left side, which helps when cable space is limited. Frame designation 025 indicates the stator cross-section, while motor length code B sets the overall depth for compact layouts. The standard housing and shaft-end geometry, with no side B extension, leave the rear of the motor clear and simplify installation where adjacent components are mounted close to the drive axis.
