MDD025B-N-100-N2G-040MR0
The Bosch Rexroth Indramat MDD025B-N-100-N2G-040MR0 is a compact servo motor from the MDD Synchronous Motors series. Built for digital drive controllers, it transforms commanded current into rapid, precise shaft rotation for automated pick-and-place tools, labeling units, and miniature positioning stages. A standard housing and factory balancing support straightforward installation alongside other MDD models and help maintain stable vibration behavior during high-speed operation.
Rated for a nominal speed of 10000 rpm, the motor supports short indexing times without relying on external gearing. At standstill, it sustains a continuous torque of 0.60 Nm, allowing small loads to remain steady between moves. Accurate mechanical alignment is supported by a centering pilot of 40 mm, and this pilot mates with precision flanges to minimize radial runout. Cabling is routed to a right-hand terminal zone because the connection hardware is mounted on the right side of the stator. All power, signal, and protective earth conductors terminate in a circular connector, which keeps wiring orderly inside multi-axis machines and allows orderly connection routing in compact equipment.
Closed-loop control is maintained through analog resolver feedback, which resists electrical noise and supplies continuous position and velocity data to the drive. Torque is transmitted by a shaft machined with a keyway, so couplings or pulleys can be secured without additional hubs. Because the unit is supplied without a blocking brake, any static holding force must be generated by the inverter or by mechanical clamps after power shutdown. It is also delivered without a shaft seal, so installation points should be free from coolant splash or positive washdown pressure. The length-code B body, standard 025 frame, and single-ended shaft keep overall mass low, which helps the motor fit into tight machine envelopes where available mounting space is limited.
