MDD025B-N-100-N2G-040MR1
Bosch Rexroth Indramat manufactures the MDD025B-N-100-N2G-040MR1 as a compact synchronous servo motor in the MDD Synchronous Motors series. Designed for use with digital drive controllers, it converts electrical power into precise rotary motion for light-duty positioning axes in industrial automation cells. Its compact frame supports high-speed rotary stages, labeling heads, and small pick-and-place actuators where installation space is limited. Its synchronous design supports repeatable speed and position control when the drive regulates current and feedback signals in real time.
The unit delivers 0.60 Nm of continuous torque at standstill for steady holding duty. At rated voltage and frequency, it reaches a maximum speed of 10,000 rpm, which suits processes that require rapid indexing and short move times. A permanently attached blocking brake provides 1.0 Nm of holding torque so the axis can remain stopped after power is removed. A 40 mm centering diameter on the front flange helps align the motor with the driven mechanism. Rotor position and velocity are returned through resolver feedback, giving the drive a continuous analog signal for closed-loop control. This feedback method lets the controller monitor shaft motion continuously during operation. Power and feedback conductors terminate in a single sealed connector, which keeps the motor interface compact.
All external terminations use a right-side cable exit, which helps keep wiring routed to one side of the machine. The output shaft uses a keyway so torque can be transferred through a positive mechanical connection instead of a friction fit. This model is built in size 025 with the B-length housing, keeping the motor compact while maintaining stable servo response. Standard dynamic balancing helps limit residual vibration during operation. The motor is supplied without a shaft seal, which suits installations where the coupling area is already protected by the surrounding enclosure.
