MDD025B-N-100-N2G-040PE0
The MDD025B-N-100-N2G-040PE0 is a synchronous servo motor produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the MDD Synchronous Motors series. Designed for use with digital drive controllers, it converts commanded current into controlled rotary motion for light-duty feed axes, compact spindles, and pick-and-place units. Its size-025 frame, standard housing, and B motor length help it fit shallow machine spaces where short installation depth is important. The compact form also supports repeated start-stop motion on small automation axes that need precise response without a large motor body. That layout is useful in densely packed transfer stations where actuator spacing is limited.
At standstill, the rotor can deliver a continuous torque of 0.60 Nm, allowing modest loads to remain in position without excessive heating. The permissible mechanical speed reaches 10,000 rpm, giving the drive a broad operating range for fast cycles and small-diameter transmission elements. Accurate mounting is supported by a 40 mm centering diameter, and all power and feedback conductors exit on the left side to simplify cable routing in tightly packed layouts. A factory-issued connecting cable with coupling unit provides a direct connection method that supports quick installation and easy disconnection when the motor must be removed from the machine.
The motor operates without a blocking brake, so any load that must remain fixed after power removal needs holding torque from the drive or an external locking device. Rotor position is returned through resolver feedback, which supplies the angle information needed for commutation and stable speed control across the operating range. The shaft is fitted with a shaft seal to help keep coolant mist and fine dust away from the bearing area, and the keyway shaft supports positive torque transmission to pulleys, couplings, or similar driven parts. Because the brake is absent, vertical axes or suspended loads need separate holding hardware when the system is not energized.
