MDD025B-N-100-N2K-040FD1
The MDD025B-N-100-N2K-040FD1 is a compact synchronous servo motor built by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the MDD Synchronous Motors series. Supplied with a B length code and a 025 frame size, it keeps mass and envelope small, so it can be mounted on light linear slides or rotary tables. It attaches to digital drive controllers and converts electrical commands into precise rotary motion for small automation axes, pick-and-place heads, and miniature machine spindles. A low-inertia rotor and resolver feedback provide immediate position data to the drive, enabling tight speed and torque regulation within limited installation space.
With a nominal speed of 10000 rpm, the rotor can run at high velocity suited to rapid indexing or light spindle duty. At standstill, it delivers 0.60 Nm of continuous torque, providing steady force for accurate positioning without overheating. The integrated blocking brake supplies 1.0 Nm of static torque to secure the shaft during power loss. Shaft position is monitored through resolver feedback, whose sine-cosine signals resist electrical noise and allow immediate commutation. A 40 mm centering diameter aligns the flange concentrically to the machine frame and helps keep vibration low.
Cabling is routed on Side B, keeping power, brake, and feedback conductors clear of moving tooling and directed toward the cabinet. The rotor terminates in a plain shaft, giving the unit compatibility with compression couplings or belt pulleys without keyways. Because the housing is supplied without a shaft seal, drag torque is minimized and the unit is intended for dry interior environments. A connecting cable with coupling unit forms the electrical interface, enabling quick plug-in connection while maintaining shield continuity. Standard balancing limits residual vibration and helps protect bearings at high speed.
