MDD025B-N-100-N2K-040FR1
The MDD025B-N-100-N2K-040FR1 is a compact synchronous motor produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the MDD Synchronous Motors series. It is supplied as a motor for digital drive controllers and is intended to deliver high-speed rotary actuation on light-duty axes used in assembly stations, semiconductor handlers, and other automated machinery where fast acceleration and repeatable positioning are required. Feedback for the drive is supplied by resolver feedback, while position referencing after power-up is handled by an integrated absolute encoder. The resolver channel supplies continuous rotor-angle data during motion, while the absolute encoder provides a stored reference position for startup.
This model develops a continuous standstill torque of 0.60 Nm, enabling it to hold small loads without overheating during stationary operation. Under rated excitation it reaches a nominal speed of 10000 rpm, which supports rapid indexing and short cycle times on small axes. A blocking brake is integrated and provides 1.0 Nm of holding torque to secure the shaft when power is removed. Mechanical interfacing is centered by a 40 mm pilot, and electrical power and feedback are routed through a right-hand connector for dense side-by-side mounting on machine frames. The housing follows a standard enclosure outline, and the B motor length keeps the overall footprint short.
The shaft uses a plain shaft configuration and is supplied without a shaft seal, which reduces friction where environmental ingress is not a primary concern. The motor uses a single shaft end and does not have a side B shaft extension. The motor size code 025 corresponds to its 25 mm frame class. Rotor balance is maintained to a standard grade to help limit vibration at high speed. The lack of a shaft seal makes the motor better suited to clean, dry installation areas than to locations with frequent liquid or particle exposure.
