MDD025B-N-100-N2K-040GB0
Bosch Rexroth Indramat manufactures the MDD025B-N-100-N2K-040GB0 as part of the MDD Synchronous Motors series. The unit is intended for use with digital drive controllers, so it can serve in coordinated motion tasks that require stable speed control and accurate positioning. It uses the compact 025 frame with B length, and the housing has a standard form factor that fits space-limited machine assemblies. This layout makes the motor suitable for small pick-and-place modules, compact indexing tables, and auxiliary axes where limited installation space and high rotational speed are important.
The motor reaches a nominal speed of 10000 rpm, allowing high cycle rates when paired with a suitable drive. At standstill, it can deliver 0.60 Nm of continuous torque, indicating the maximum continuous static load the rotor can support without overheating. Rotor balance is set to the standard class to help limit vibration during high-speed operation. An integrated absolute encoder supplies single-turn position data for precise commutation and position tracking during motion. All electrical terminations are routed on side B through a sealed industrial connector, and a fluororubber bellows provides a shaft seal that helps limit lubricant escape and particle ingress at the output end.
Mechanical integration is aided by a centering diameter of 40 mm, so the flange aligns repeatably on gearbox faces or machine plates. Feedback to the controller can also be taken from the built-in resolver feedback circuit when an analog position channel is preferred. The output uses a plain shaft profile, which is suited to coupling arrangements that rely on frictional clamping rather than a keyed connection. The motor is supplied without a blocking brake, so an external holding method is required when power is removed. The shaft end on the opposite face is omitted, which reduces overall length and helps the motor fit compact machine layouts.
