MDD025B-N-100-N2K-040GB1
The MDD025B-N-100-N2K-040GB1 is a compact synchronous servo motor manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat and supplied within the MDD Synchronous Motors series. It is intended for integration with digital drive controllers, where it provides tightly regulated rotary motion to indexing tables, miniature actuators, and pick-and-place axes. Standard balancing helps reduce vibration during rapid starts and stops, and the standard housing supports straightforward installation in compact machine layouts. The plain, single-ended shaft is suited to small gear stages or timing pulleys where a simple coupling arrangement is preferred.
During continuous stall conditions, the motor delivers 0.60 Nm of torque, which supports uninterrupted holding duty within its continuous operating range. When commanded to its rated velocity of 10000 rpm, the rotor can follow high-speed profiles required by light tooling heads and other low-inertia mechanisms. Precise mechanical alignment is achieved with a 40 mm centering diameter, and the power and feedback plugs are oriented toward the rear because the connections are on Side B of the frame. Position data returns to the drive through an integrated absolute encoder, allowing the control system to retain the last known rotor angle after power is removed. A circular connector is provided for both power and signal leads.
For load retention at standstill, a blocking brake inside the housing supplies 1.0 Nm of holding torque, and a fitted shaft seal helps protect the bearings from contamination. The motor occupies the 025 frame size and uses length code B, giving it a compact form that suits small machine modules with limited mounting space. It uses a plain shaft without a side B extension, which keeps the rear of the motor clear for connector access and simplifies placement in tight assemblies. The unit is classified as a motor for digital drive controllers and uses a single connector arrangement for power and signal wiring.
