MDD025B-N-100-N2K-040GE1
The MDD025B-N-100-N2K-040GE1 is a compact AC synchronous servo motor produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat and part of the MDD Synchronous Motors series. Designed for use with digital drive controllers, it converts drive current into controlled mechanical rotation for positioning, indexing, and high-speed spindle duties in automated machinery. When paired with a compatible Indramat drive, the motor supports closed-loop motion on assembly lines, pick-and-place stations, and other applications that require lightweight moving parts and fast acceleration.
Its nominal speed reaches 10,000 rpm, allowing the rotor to maintain high angular velocity when supplied with rated frequency and voltage. At standstill, the motor can continuously deliver 0.60 Nm of torque, which supports stable force on a load during static holding tasks. For power-down or emergency conditions, an integrated blocking brake provides 1.0 Nm of holding torque to lock the shaft. Installation uses a centering pilot of 40 mm for accurate alignment on the machine frame, and all electrical terminations exit on the operator’s left side, with the fixed Left connection direction keeping cable runs consistent in multi-axis layouts. The motor also uses size code 025, length code B, standard dynamic balancing, and a housing with the standard cooling arrangement for this product line.
Position feedback and commutation are provided through resolver feedback, while a secondary channel uses an integrated absolute encoder to supply multi-turn position data to the drive. Torque is transmitted through a plain shaft that is fitted at the factory with a shaft seal, which helps prevent lubricant or coolant from entering along the journal. A connecting cable with a molded coupling unit mates to the drive controller. The shaft end on side B is omitted to keep the overall length minimal, and the standard housing with a balanced rotor helps reduce vibration during high-speed operation.
