MDD025B-N-100-N2K-040GF1
Bosch Rexroth Indramat manufactures the MDD025B-N-100-N2K-040GF1 as part of the MDD Synchronous Motors series. This compact servomotor is intended for digital drive controllers that demand fast acceleration and stable speed regulation in automated handling, electronic assembly, or lightweight spindle functions within industrial machinery. Its compact format suits applications where responsive motion and accurate control are required in limited installation space. The motor is also well suited to axes that make frequent starts and stops during normal production cycles.
The rotor is dynamically balanced to a standard grade, and the flange face has a centering diameter of 40 mm to align the motor with gearboxes or mounting plates. A plain shaft transmits motion, and the power connection exits on the Right side through a connecting cable with a coupling unit, which helps keep cabling clear of nearby hardware. At standstill, the motor can supply a continuous torque of 0.60 Nm, and a blocking brake rated for 1.0 Nm helps prevent drift when power is removed. The stator supports a nominal speed of 10000 rpm, allowing high surface velocity on small tooling. These operating values suit compact drive tasks that need quick response without a large motor frame.
The drive uses resolver feedback for motor control, and the control electronics also receive signals from an integrated absolute encoder. This combination gives the controller both continuous feedback for closed-loop operation and absolute position information for repeatable motion after startup. The motor uses size code 025 with length code B, which keeps inertia low for short indexing moves. An internal shaft seal is provided to limit the entry of vapor or cutting fluid along the journal. Electrical insulation is included for normal servo operation, and the motor has a standard housing style with a single shaft end rather than a second output on side B.
