MDD025B-N-100-N2K-040PA1
The MDD025B-N-100-N2K-040PA1 synchronous servo motor is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the MDD Synchronous Motors series. It is intended for use with digital drive controllers, where it converts regulated current into precise rotary motion for pick-and-place heads, indexing tables, and small tooling spindles. Its compact 025 frame and B-length housing help it fit into machine sections where installation space is limited, while still supporting fast, repeatable motion during automated cycles. The motor is suited to short-cycle applications where quick response and accurate stopping are important.
Its performance centers on a nominal speed of 10000 rpm, which allows high rotor speed under rated operating conditions. At standstill, the motor can deliver 0.60 Nm continuously, so it can maintain position against modest static loads without excessive heating. A permanent-magnet holding brake adds 1.0 Nm of locking torque when the controller is disabled or de-energized. Power and feedback connections are routed on Side A, which keeps the service end organized in compact layouts. Position information is supplied by an integrated absolute encoder, so the control system can recover shaft position after a power cycle without an additional reference move.
A centering pilot diameter of 40 mm helps align the flange with couplings or gearbox faces during installation. The single shaft end uses a keyway for positive torque transmission, and a radial shaft seal helps limit the entry of coolant or lubricant at the output end. For applications that use analog angle signals, the motor also provides resolver feedback alongside the digital encoder data. This combination supports use with different feedback processing methods while keeping the mechanical interface compact and easy to integrate into small servo axes.
