MDD025B-N-100-N2K-040PE1
The MDD025B-N-100-N2K-040PE1 is a synchronous servo motor engineered by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the MDD Synchronous Motors series. It is supplied as a compact rotary actuator intended for direct coupling to digital drive controllers in automated machinery. Within an axis group, it supplies commanded torque and velocity while its internal feedback system maintains position information, allowing closed-loop motion without additional measuring devices.
At standstill, the motor delivers a continuous torque of 0.60 Nm, which sets the thermal limit for holding loads during static positioning. During service, it can reach a nominal rotational speed of 10000 rpm, enabling high-cycle pick-and-place or spindle duties where short move times are critical. The centering diameter measures 40 mm, providing a reference surface that aligns the stator to the machine frame and minimizes radial runout. Electrical and feedback terminations are routed on the left side of the housing so cable routing can remain consistent along that orientation. A factory-installed shaft seal surrounds the output journal, reducing lubricant escape and helping block fine particles from reaching the bearing set.
Dynamic stopping and load securing are handled by an integrated blocking brake that produces 1.0 Nm of holding torque when the drive is disabled. For commutation and speed control, the motor uses resolver feedback, which provides rotor angle information with good resistance to electrical noise. Power is introduced through a connecting cable with coupling unit, so the motor can be disconnected without opening the enclosure. The output shaft follows a keyway configuration so torque can be transmitted through a keyed hub, while the opposite side remains closed because the model does not use a secondary shaft end.
