MDD025B-N-100-N2K-040PF1
The MDD025B-N-100-N2K-040PF1 is a synchronous servo motor produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the MDD Synchronous Motors series. Designed for digital drive controllers, it converts commanded current into precise rotary motion for indexing tables, miniature loaders, and light spindle tasks in automated cells. The 025 frame size and standard housing allow the unit to fit compact machinery while remaining suitable for modular closed-loop drive systems.
The motor reaches a nominal speed of 10000 rpm, allowing rapid cycle times when the application requires sustained rotation at rated conditions. It provides a continuous standstill torque of 0.60 Nm, so the axis can hold position or move slowly without excessive thermal load. An integrated absolute encoder provides exact rotor position at power-up, which reduces the need for a separate homing sequence. The integrated blocking brake supplies 1.0 Nm of holding torque, which helps keep a vertical or parked axis from drifting when power is removed. All power, feedback, and brake leads exit on the right side, which can simplify cable routing when several motors are installed close together.
A centering flange of 40 mm helps align the motor accurately with the machine housing during high-speed operation. Closed-loop control also uses resolver feedback, giving the controller analog rotor position information for stable commutation and speed regulation. Torque is transmitted through a keyway shaft, which supports the use of standard pulleys and couplings in compact drive assemblies. Field wiring is consolidated in a connecting cable with a coupling unit, so the motor can be disconnected without changing cabinet-side terminations. This arrangement keeps the motor connection in one assembly instead of separating it into multiple external plugs.
