MDD025C-N-100-N2G-040FR1
The MDD025C-N-100-N2G-040FR1 is a synchronous servo motor manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the MDD Synchronous Motors series. As a motor for digital drive controllers, it converts controlled three-phase power into rotary motion for compact positioning axes, gantry heads, and feed drives. Its compact design supports high-speed operation in dense automation layouts where short travel distances and fast response are important. The motor is intended for applications that need precise movement without the larger footprint of a higher-frame unit.
During continuous standstill, the motor can supply 0.90 Nm of torque, allowing low-inertia axes to hold a load without extra gearing. At rated excitation, it reaches a nominal speed of 10,000 rpm, which suits fast pick-and-place cycles and other rapid indexing tasks. The integrated blocking brake provides up to 1.0 Nm of holding torque when power is removed. Mechanical centering uses a 40 mm locating diameter, and the power and sensor connectors are oriented to the right side of the housing for straightforward cable routing. Standard balancing and a standard housing help maintain stable running behavior during normal operation.
The motor uses frame size 025 with motor length code C, which fits confined machine spaces. Position information is supplied through resolver feedback, allowing the drive controller to perform commutation and speed control without a high-resolution encoder. The output end uses a plain shaft and is supplied without a shaft seal, so the installation should remain protected from direct liquid exposure. The shaft end follows the standard configuration and does not include a side-B extension. Electrical connections are made through the specified connector arrangement, and the standard housing finish matches the usual appearance of the series.
