MDD025C-N-100-N2G-040GC0
The MDD025C-N-100-N2G-040GC0 is a synchronous servo motor produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the MDD Synchronous Motors series. Designed for use with digital drive controllers, it provides high-speed rotary motion for compact pick-and-place modules, lightweight gantries, and other automation axes that require fast and repeatable positioning. Its compact frame and short body help it fit applications where moving mass and installation space must be kept low. The motor is suited to equipment that needs quick response and stable closed-loop motion rather than high continuous torque.
The motor has a nominal speed of 10000 rpm, allowing short cycle times in machines that rely on rapid acceleration and deceleration. At standstill, it can generate 0.90 Nm of continuous torque, which is suitable for holding light tooling or lightly loaded mechanisms without additional gearing. Mechanical alignment to the mounting flange is simplified by the 40 mm centering diameter, and the rotor is balanced to a standard grade to help limit vibration at high speed. Position and velocity are returned to the drive through resolver feedback, which supports closed-loop control across the operating range. The motor uses a plain shaft, so torque is transferred through a friction-fit coupling or collet instead of a keyed connection.
Cabling exits on Side A of the housing, which can simplify routing in compact machine layouts. The motor uses a factory-terminated connecting cable with coupling unit, helping reduce wiring effort inside tight electrical cabinets. The unit is supplied without a blocking brake, so any required holding force must come from the drive or from an external mechanical lock when power is removed. The motor also has a shaft seal that helps keep lubricant in place and reduces contaminant entry when used with sealed connectors and a sealed mounting arrangement. The housing and shaft end are supplied in the standard configuration.
