MDD025C-N-100-N2G-040GD1
The MDD025C-N-100-N2G-040GD1 is a compact servo motor produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the MDD Synchronous Motors series. As a motor for digital drive controllers, it delivers precise torque and speed regulation in tightly sequenced automation axes such as pick-and-place modules or small spindle units. Its electrical design supports high-frequency commutation so rapid cycle work can be executed without overshoot or drift in positioning tasks. The motor is intended for installations where accurate response to changing command values is needed throughout repeated motion cycles. It is also suited to compact axes where limited installation space must be balanced with stable servo performance.
With a centering diameter of 40 mm, the motor mounts directly to gearheads or machine frames without additional adapters. Power and feedback conductors exit on side B, which helps keep cable routing clear at the rear of the housing and leaves the mounting face unobstructed. The rotor is balanced to the standard grade to limit vibration during high-speed operation. At standstill, it can deliver a continuous torque of 0.90 Nm, and when driven up to its nominal speed of 10000 rpm, it supports rapid cycle times for lightweight loads. Position data is returned through resolver feedback, and the sealed housing uses a shaft seal to limit lubricant migration toward the motor interior.
A blocking brake rated for 1.0 Nm is fitted so the axis can remain locked when power is removed. The brake uses a connecting cable with a coupling unit, which keeps the brake connection separate from the main motor leads and supports orderly cable routing. A plain shaft on the drive side simplifies coupler installation, and the opposite end has no shaft extension. The motor uses the 025 frame size with length code C, so its overall diameter, mass, and thermal capacity suit narrow tooling stations where compact servo hardware is required.
