MDD025C-N-100-N2G-040MD0
Bosch Rexroth Indramat manufactures the MDD025C-N-100-N2G-040MD0, a compact AC servo motor in the MDD Synchronous Motors series. It is intended for integration with digital drive controllers where tight velocity loops and fine positional resolution are needed. The motor uses standard dynamic balancing to reduce vibration at high speed, fits machines with its standard housing profile, and has a single shaft end for coupling to miniature transmission elements in automated assembly, inspection, or test stations. Its compact format also suits small handling units where available mounting space and moving mass must remain low.
The motor develops a continuous standstill torque of 0.90 Nm, which supports direct drive of lightweight fixtures while maintaining closed-loop stiffness. Its rotor can reach a nominal mechanical speed of 10000 rpm, giving short index times when paired with a suitable drive. A centering shoulder measuring 40 mm in diameter provides the locating surface that aligns the stator bore with the machine frame and helps reduce concentricity errors. All power and signal conductors exit on Side B, keeping cable loops clear of moving parts on the opposite face. Quick installation is supported by a connecting cable with coupling unit, which mates directly to controller harnesses without field crimping.
Position information is generated by resolver feedback, allowing the drive to monitor rotor position during rapid acceleration. Because the design is delivered without blocking brake, it is suited to horizontal or externally secured axes where passive holding torque is unnecessary. The output shaft is machined with a keyway for positive torque transmission. The 025 frame size keeps rotor inertia low for responsive moves, and the C length code gives the motor a slim housing that fits confined tooling spaces. This layout works well in compact mechanisms that require precise motion and straightforward cable routing.
