MDD025C-N-100-N2G-040MD1
The MDD025C-N-100-N2G-040MD1 is a synchronous servo motor produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the MDD Synchronous Motors series. Designed for digital drive controllers, it delivers precise rotational motion on compact automation axes. Its compact format also suits machines where available mounting space is limited, especially on axes that repeat short indexing moves throughout the work cycle. The motor’s small frame and standard housing make it suitable for pick-and-place modules, miniature conveyors, or spindle positioning tasks that demand rapid acceleration and tight speed regulation in continuous industrial duty.
Mechanical interface data start with a centering diameter of 40 mm, allowing the housing to sit concentrically in standard flanges and minimize radial runout. The motor has a nominal speed of 10000 rpm, which lets a lightweight axis achieve high cycle rates without mechanical gearing. During continuous stall conditions, it supplies 0.90 Nm so the drive can hold loads while stationary. A blocking brake integrated on the non-drive end provides 1.0 Nm of static torque, preventing back-driving when power is removed. Electrical and feedback leads exit on side B, simplifying layouts where the rear of the motor faces the cable channel.
Power and sensor conductors are bundled in a connecting cable with coupling unit, which shortens installation time and seals the connector interface. Torque is transferred through a shaft machined with a keyway, giving positive engagement to pulleys or pinions without relying on friction alone. Closed-loop control is based on resolver feedback, which provides rotor position signals across the speed range and remains reliable in electrically noisy environments. The motor is built without a shaft seal, so it should be mounted in locations free of coolant spray or oil ingress. Standard balancing and the absence of a side-B shaft end further suit clean, dry environments where minimal sealing drag is preferred.
