MDD025C-N-100-N2G-040ML0
The MDD025C-N-100-N2G-040ML0 is a compact synchronous servo motor produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the MDD Synchronous Motors series. Designed as a drive element for digital motion controllers, this unit converts commanded current into precise rotary displacement so that automated pick-and-place axes, compact spindles, or light gantries can reach high cycle rates with repeatable positioning accuracy in tightly spaced machine layouts. Standard balancing limits residual vibration, and the standard housing with a single-ended shaft supports compact machine installation.
The motor sustains a continuous standstill torque of 0.90 Nm, which provides a continuous value for static load support without thermal overload at zero speed. During dynamic operation, it can reach a nominal speed of 10,000 rpm, which suits high-speed machining or indexing tasks where rapid shaft velocity is required. Accurate mechanical registration is supported by the 40 mm centering diameter that locates the flange against the machine frame. Power and feedback conductors exit on the left side through a sealed connector, which can simplify cable routing in confined spaces. Position feedback is supplied by resolver feedback, allowing the controller to track rotor angle under vibration or electrical noise. The shaft uses a keyway so torque can be transferred directly to gears, pulleys, or couplings without slipping.
This model is delivered without a blocking brake, so position holding at standstill must be provided by drive torque or an external clamp. For reduced friction and minimal drag, the front bearing area is also supplied without a shaft seal, so the coupling area should be protected from contaminants. The active magnetic stack uses the C length code, which offers greater power density than shorter versions while staying within the 025 frame size.
