MDD025C-N-100-N2G-040MR1
The MDD025C-N-100-N2G-040MR1 synchronous servo motor is manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the MDD Synchronous Motors series. It is intended for use with digital drive controllers and delivers high-speed rotary motion to positioning modules, pick-and-place heads, and other automated axes that require accurate velocity control. Its compact 025 frame helps it fit space-limited machinery, and the housing follows standard mounting dimensions used across the series. In closed-loop systems, the motor converts commanded current into repeatable shaft motion for indexing, transfer, and light handling tasks. The motor is suited to compact automation equipment where axis travel is short and cycle times are important.
The motor supplies a continuous standstill torque of 0.90 Nm, giving holding force for lightly loaded axes while the drive regulates current. Under rated voltage it reaches a nominal speed of 10000 rpm, supporting rapid indexing cycles and short motion profiles. Position data is returned through resolver feedback, which provides sine-cosine signals for closed-loop control. Power and feedback connections are oriented on the right side, helping cable routing stay clear of adjacent modules. A shaft with a keyway transmits torque without slip, and standard dynamic balancing helps limit vibration at high speed.
An integrated blocking brake rated at 1.0 Nm holds the shaft when the drive is disabled, which is useful on vertical axes and during stops. The motor has a C length designation, which gives additional stack depth while keeping the same frame size. A pilot diameter of 40 mm centers the assembly for repeatable alignment on compatible mounting flanges. The centered fit helps maintain coupling alignment and reduces offset at the mounting surface. Because the output end is without a shaft seal, the motor is best used where coolant and oil are kept away from the front bearing area. Only one shaft end is provided, while the opposite end remains closed.
