MDD025C-N-100-N2G-040PA1
The MDD025C-N-100-N2G-040PA1 is a compact synchronous servo motor manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat as part of the MDD Synchronous Motors series. Used with digital drive controllers, it converts controlled drive current into rotary motion for small pick-and-place heads, labelers, and other high-speed axes used in industrial automation. Its compact format suits machinery that needs fast response and minimal installation space.
A nominal speed of 10000 rpm allows the rotor to follow drive commands without mechanical transmission ratios. At standstill, the motor can hold a continuous torque of 0.90 Nm, giving the servo loop enough margin for fine position corrections. When power is cut, the integrated blocking brake delivers 1.0 Nm of holding torque so suspended loads do not drift. Rotor position is reported through resolver feedback, which supplies absolute angle data that resists electrical noise and supports smooth commutation at all speeds. Power and signal leads exit on side A, which can simplify cabinet layouts where several motors are stacked on a common rail. The unit uses standard balancing and a standard cooling enclosure, which help limit vibration and keep surface temperatures within drive controller limits. Motor size 025 with length code C gives the motor a short body suitable for tight machine envelopes.
The flange presents a centering diameter of 40 mm so the stator aligns precisely with gearboxes or load brackets. Electrical power is brought in through a connector. There is a shaft seal to keep lubricants inside the bearing space and help limit dust entry, while the output shaft follows a keyway profile that mates directly with keyed hubs. The shaft end is the standard single-ended version, which avoids overhung mass on side B. A standard housing and resolver feedback keep overall mass low, and the standard dynamic balancing grade helps prevent resonance in light-duty frames.
