MDD025C-N-100-N2G-040PC1
Bosch Rexroth Indramat builds the MDD025C-N-100-N2G-040PC1 as part of the MDD Synchronous Motors series. This compact servo unit is intended for closed-loop operation with digital drive controllers, providing high-speed rotary motion for small pick-and-place modules, tool spindles, and indexing tables in industrial automation cells. By combining a lightweight 025 frame with high pole-count stator windings, the motor can fit into restricted mechanical envelopes while still delivering the speed and positional precision demanded by automated assembly equipment.
The motor provides a continuous stall output of 0.90 Nm, which is the torque it can supply continuously without exceeding its thermal limit. A rated rotational speed of 10000 rpm supports rapid acceleration in fast-cycling axes. For load securing during power-off events, the integrated blocking brake applies 1.0 Nm of static holding force. The rotor uses standard balancing, which helps reduce residual vibration across the speed range and protect adjacent bearings. Motion feedback is supplied through resolver feedback, providing analog sine-cosine position signals that remain accurate under electrical noise and temperature drift. Frame size 025 and length code C keep the motor compact, while the standard housing supports straightforward integration.
A centering pilot diameter of 40 mm aligns the flange precisely with machine tooling for coaxial load transfer. Electrical and feedback terminations are arranged on Side A, and the assembly includes a connecting cable with coupling unit for plug-in wiring. Output torque is transmitted through a shaft with a keyway, while the opposite end is omitted to shorten the overall length. A shaft seal protects the internal bearings from coolant splash and dust ingress. The exterior finish also allows the motor to be cleaned in place without special covers.
