MDD025C-N-100-N2K-040FA1
The MDD025C-N-100-N2K-040FA1 is a synchronous servo motor produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the MDD Synchronous Motors series. It is intended for use with digital drive controllers, where commanded current is converted into controlled rotary motion for compact automation axes, pick-and-place stations, and light machining heads. Its compact 025 frame and integrated brake make it suitable for installations where space is limited but accurate positioning is still required. Because it is a synchronous servo motor, the unit can follow rapid command changes while maintaining controlled acceleration and deceleration.
The motor has a nominal speed of 10000 rpm and a continuous standstill torque of 0.90 Nm without exceeding thermal limits. Its integrated blocking brake provides 1.0 Nm of holding torque, which helps keep a load in place when drive power is removed. Accurate alignment is supported by a 40 mm centering diameter at the flange, and all power and feedback connections are oriented toward Side A for straightforward cable routing. This layout is useful in compact assemblies where harness bends and connector access must remain manageable. Standard dynamic balancing limits residual vibration, while the normal-duty housing and C length keep the motor suitable for small machine assemblies.
Field wiring connects through a sealed connector that mates directly with the drive harness and keeps the electrical interface compact. Position information is returned through resolver feedback, which supplies analog signals for commutation and speed control. The motor uses a plain shaft for friction-based couplings, and it is supplied without a shaft seal to reduce drag at high speed. The shaft end follows the standard form without a side B extension, which supports direct use with pulleys or small gear stages where a second shaft output is not needed. The absence of a side B shaft extension also leaves more clearance for close-coupled mounting in narrow machine spaces.
