MDD025C-N-100-N2K-040MB1
The MDD025C-N-100-N2K-040MB1 is a compact synchronous servo motor produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the MDD Synchronous Motors series. It converts controlled electrical input into precise rotary motion for positioning and velocity tasks in automated machinery. Its design supports high-speed duty cycles while maintaining the compact footprint required for tightly packed multi-axis assemblies common in pick-and-place stations, packaging lines, and light machining cells. The small housing also helps the motor fit machine areas where adjacent tooling and axis hardware leave little installation space.
The motor body uses standard balancing to limit vibration transmitted to drive components, and its centering pilot measures 40 mm to align the flange accurately with gearboxes or mounting plates. At standstill, it can deliver a continuous torque of 0.90 Nm, and during operation the rotor can reach a nominal speed of 10000 rpm, allowing rapid index moves on light loads. Power and feedback conductors exit on side B through a keyed connector, so cable routing can remain on one side of the machine frame. The motor has frame length C, and the housing encloses the stator windings in a standard configuration. No shaft seal is fitted, so external machine sealing must be used where contamination or fluid exposure is a concern.
With the blocking brake engaged, the motor can hold up to 1.0 Nm when power is removed, which is useful on vertical axes that must resist back-driving. Position data is returned through resolver feedback with an integrated absolute encoder, giving the controller immediate knowledge of rotor angle after startup. The output shaft uses a keyway profile and is provided only on the drive side, while the opposite side remains blank so the motor can fit close to adjacent modules. Compact frame size 025 keeps inertia low for responsive motion. The motor is intended for digital drive controllers that regulate speed and position in small mechanical assemblies.
