MDD025C-N-100-N2K-040MC1
The MDD025C-N-100-N2K-040MC1 is a synchronous servo motor built by Bosch Rexroth Indramat and assigned to the MDD Synchronous Motors series. Delivered as a motor for digital drive controllers, it supplies high-speed rotary motion that can be tightly coordinated with CNC or PLC commands in automated machinery and handling equipment. Because it is intended for digital drive controllers, the motor can be integrated into systems that depend on coordinated speed and position updates throughout each machine cycle. Its compact format suits fast, repeatable axis movement in equipment where accurate response and stable operation are required during frequent motion cycles. Standard rotor balancing limits vibration and helps the bearings withstand sustained high-speed operation.
At standstill, the rotor can develop 0.90 Nm of continuous torque, giving stable holding force for precision positioning tasks. During motion, it reaches a maximum operating velocity of 10,000 rpm, which suits spindles or rapid-cycle pick-and-place axes where short positioning intervals are required. A blocking brake is integrated and can apply 1.0 Nm of torque to secure the shaft when power is removed. Feedback for closed-loop regulation comes from an integrated absolute encoder, while a secondary channel uses resolver feedback so the connected drive can maintain commutation if the main feedback signal is lost.
The flange provides a 40 mm centering diameter, and all power and feedback leads exit on Side A through a connecting cable with coupling unit to keep plugs outside moving envelopes. This arrangement helps preserve clearance around adjacent moving parts and supports cleaner cable routing in compact machine sections. The cable connection remains accessible without adding extra adapter hardware at the mounting face. The steel shaft is finished with a keyway and uses a standard single-ended configuration, leaving the opposite side closed. The motor uses Motor Length Code C, matching the 025 frame size and the standard housing. There is no shaft seal, so the installation area must be protected from coolant or oil at the front bearing.
