MDD025C-N-100-N2K-040ME0
The MDD025C-N-100-N2K-040ME0 is a compact synchronous motor from Bosch Rexroth Indramat's MDD Synchronous Motors series. As a motor for digital drive controllers, it converts drive current into fast, repeatable rotary motion for automated pick-and-place heads, miniature spindle stages, and similar equipment used in industrial automation lines. Its compact format suits axes where mounting space is limited and fast response is required.
The shaft seats against a centering pilot of 40 mm, allowing precise alignment with reducers or couplings. At standstill, the rotor can deliver 0.90 Nm of continuous torque, which is suitable for holding light mechanical loads without overheating. During operation, it reaches a nominal speed of 10,000 rpm, so compact machines can obtain high throughput without additional gearing. Position information is returned through resolver feedback, giving the controller rotor position data for closed-loop operation. Power and signal leads exit on the left side, which can simplify cable runs when the motor is mounted on the right wall of a cabinet. Standard dynamic balancing limits residual vibration, and the housing uses a standard nonventilated design that relies on convection for heat dissipation.
Space constraints are addressed by the motor's length code C body, which shortens axis depth while keeping the 025 frame width. Torque is transmitted through a keyway shaft that matches common keyed hubs, and the design is shipped without a blocking brake so cycle times are not lengthened by brake release delays. A sealed mating interface is provided by a connecting cable with coupling unit, permitting quick electrical removal when the motor must be disconnected. The shaft end is the standard single-sided style, and there is no shaft seal, so the motor should be installed in clean areas. The feedback assembly is integrated into the motor housing, and the rotor uses standard balancing for small-frame synchronous motors.
