MDD025C-N-100-N2K-040MF0
Bosch Rexroth Indramat produces the MDD025C-N-100-N2K-040MF0 in the MDD Synchronous Motors series. This motor is intended for digital drive controllers and provides position and speed control for compact machinery where low inertia and fast response are required. It is well suited to compact automation cells that need frequent starts, stops, and short travel distances. The motor format supports accurate motion on small axes where oversized hardware would add inertia. It comes in a standard housing with standard dynamic balancing, is delivered without a blocking brake, and uses no shaft seal, so contaminants must be kept away from the bearings. A standard shaft end on side A and the lack of a side B extension simplify mechanical integration while still providing a positive mechanical output for torque transfer.
The drive section is optimized for high-speed duty, and its nominal speed reaches 10000 rpm, allowing rapid cycle operation in electronic assembly or spindle positioning tasks. Continuous stall torque is rated at 0.90 Nm, which is the load the locked rotor can hold continuously without overheating. High rotational speed allows the motor to reach target positions quickly when it is connected to light mechanisms. This unit is size 025 with length code C, which gives it a short axial dimension for tightly spaced machine layouts. Rotor position is detected by an integrated absolute encoder, and this feedback helps the drive correct rotor angle quickly during acceleration and deceleration.
Mechanical mounting uses a 40 mm centering diameter that mates with standard flange collars. All power and feedback conductors exit on the right, and a connecting cable with a coupling unit provides a quick-disconnect interface that keeps the wiring on one side of the motor. A one-sided cable exit can reduce interference with nearby brackets or guards on the opposite end of the motor. The output shaft is machined with a keyway for positive torque engagement with gears or pulleys. Because there is no shaft seal, the open shaft area should be kept free of dust, coolant, and other contaminants.
