MDD025C-N-100-N2K-040MF1
The MDD025C-N-100-N2K-040MF1 is a synchronous servo motor produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the MDD Synchronous Motors series. As a motor for digital drive controllers, it converts regulated current from a servo amplifier into rotary motion for positioning and speed-control tasks in automated machinery. The unit is supplied with a standard housing and standard rotor balancing for general-purpose drive trains. A keyway shaft is provided on side A, while no shaft is present on side B, allowing direct connection to common belt or gear transmissions without adding extra output hardware at the rear.
The motor has a frame size of 025 with length code C, giving it a compact housing with an extended active core for this motor class. A centering diameter of 40 mm establishes the pilot fit on the mounting flange and helps maintain concentric alignment with the driven load. Electrical and feedback conductors exit on the right side through a connecting cable with a coupling unit, which helps keep the motor profile low in tight installations. Under continuous stall conditions, the rotor can hold 0.90 Nm of torque, and during normal operation it can reach a nominal speed of 10000 rpm for high-speed indexing duty.
A blocking brake is fitted to secure vertical axes when power is removed, and it provides a holding torque of 1.0 Nm at the shaft. Position is monitored by an integrated absolute encoder that supplies multi-turn data to the drive, while finer commutation is handled through resolver feedback routed in the same hybrid cable. Because there is no shaft seal, the motor is intended for clean, dry areas or for installation inside an enclosed machine frame. The standard housing is suitable for general ambient conditions without requiring additional protective coatings.
