MDD025C-N-100-N2K-040PA1
The MDD025C-N-100-N2K-040PA1 is a compact synchronous servo motor manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the MDD Synchronous Motors series. Classified as a motor for digital drive controllers, it supplies closed-loop rotary motion to pick-and-place heads, indexing tables, and small conveyor zones in industrial automation cells. An integrated absolute encoder provides immediate position information at power-up, while the standard housing and shaft seal allow installation where light oil mist or fine particles may be present. This makes the motor suitable for small axes that need quick starts, accurate stops, and repeatable positioning during frequent production cycles.
At standstill the motor can deliver 0.90 Nm of continuous torque while keeping winding temperature within its rating. During motion it reaches a nominal speed of 10000 rpm, a value that lets the drive couple directly to small pulleys or gear stages without overspeed. Rotor balance meets the standard grade, so vibration remains low even near top speed. Position data is also available through resolver feedback, which supports drives that use analog feedback signals. Electrical power and feedback lines exit on Side A through a single circular connector, and the flange uses a 40 mm pilot for repeatable mounting. A shaft seal helps block coolant ingress, and the C length code keeps the motor compact without increasing stack height.
A blocking brake is integrated for power-off safety and applies 1.0 Nm of static torque to restrain the rotor. The output shaft is machined with a keyway and is present only on the drive side, leaving side B with a plain housing cover. With the compact 025 frame designation, the motor fits multi-axis assemblies where adjacent tooling leaves little clearance. Because the rear end remains closed, the motor keeps a simple outline that eases installation near neighboring components.
