MDD025C-N-100-N2K-040PB1
The MDD025C-N-100-N2K-040PB1 is a compact synchronous servo motor built by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the MDD Synchronous Motors series. Intended for use with digital drive controllers, it delivers precise rotary positioning and speed control in small automation axes, pick-and-place arms, and light material-handling stages. A 025 frame with length code C keeps the footprint narrow while still accommodating the winding required for high rated speed. Integrated feedback devices and a blocking brake help the machine maintain commanded position during power interruptions, and the standard balanced rotor helps reduce vibration during fast cycling.
The motor reaches a nominal speed of 10000 rpm, allowing short cycle times in indexing tables and miniature spindle drives. At standstill, it can exert 0.90 Nm of continuous torque, which is suitable for holding light loads without overheating. For emergency stopping or vertical axes, the integrated blocking brake supplies 1.0 Nm of static torque so the shaft remains locked when the drive is disabled. A centering diameter of 40 mm provides accurate alignment between the motor flange and mating machine surfaces. Standard rotor balancing and a standard housing also support smooth operation at high speed.
Electrical and feedback interfaces are located on side B, and power is routed through a keyed connector that matches the drive harness. Motion data is returned to the controller through resolver feedback, while position referencing during power-up is supported by the built-in integrated absolute encoder. A shaft with a keyway transmits torque, and the absence of a secondary shaft on the back helps keep the overall length short. The front bearing is protected by a shaft seal that limits lubricant escape and helps block contaminant ingress, and the standard shaft-end execution fits common coupling hubs.
