MDD041A-N-100-N2G-050PA1
The MDD041A-N-100-N2G-050PA1 synchronous servo motor is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the MDD Synchronous Motors series. Designed for use with digital drive controllers, it converts electrical input into controlled rotary motion for light mechanical loads in pick-and-place modules, compact spindles, and indexing equipment on automated assembly lines. The motor combines electromagnetic conversion with integrated position feedback in a compact housing, allowing precise speed control and repeatable positioning where installation space is limited. Its small frame is well suited for auxiliary axes that need fast response without a large mechanical footprint.
Its static output capability reaches 0.64 Nm, which allows stable holding torque and controlled low-speed positioning. During continuous operation, the shaft can accelerate to 10000 rpm, and the rotor uses standard dynamic balancing to help limit vibration at high speed. A centering pilot of 50 mm aligns the motor on associated gearboxes, while power and feedback conductors exit on side A through a sealed connector interface. Motion control accuracy is supported by integrated resolver feedback, and torque is transmitted through a shaft with a keyway that accepts keyed couplings. The aluminum housing is the standard style for this frame size, and the unit connects to the drive through a single circular connector.
An internal blocking brake provides 1.2 Nm of torque when power is removed, helping the rotor remain in place at standstill. A dedicated shaft seal limits the entry of light dust or coolant in typical industrial settings. The motor uses the compact 041 frame class with short length code A, so it fits narrow mechanical envelopes and does not include a second shaft end on side B. This layout supports installation where space around the coupling and motor rear is restricted.
