The MDD041A-N-100-N2K-050MA1 is a brushless synchronous servo motor produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat and assigned to the MDD Synchronous Motors series. Engineered for digital drive controllers, it converts commanded current into rotary motion for positioning and speed-control tasks in automated machinery where stable response and repeatable movement are required. The motor works with compatible intelligent drives so torque, speed, and feedback signals can be exchanged in real time in packaging lines, pick-and-place stations, and light material-handling axes that depend on closed-loop control.
The motor’s nominal speed reaches 10000 rpm, which is the continuous rated mechanical speed for high-response motion tasks. At standstill, it can deliver 0.64 Nm of continuous torque for static holding or very slow indexing without overheating the windings during normal operation. For power-off retention and stopping functions, the motor has an integrated blocking brake that can resist loads up to 1.2 Nm. Because the motor is supplied without a shaft seal, it is best suited for clean, dry enclosures rather than locations exposed to liquid spray or heavy contamination. Rotor balance is maintained at the standard grade, and the enclosure supports convection cooling during routine operation. Position data are supplied by an integrated absolute encoder with resolver feedback, allowing the drive to read the absolute angle immediately after power-up and maintain accurate motion control throughout operation.
